Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was revealed at the 2024 Xbox Developer Direct, offering a sneak peek at the upcoming single-player game.
The game is being created by Bethesda Softworks and MachineGames, in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games, and will feature Harrison Ford’s likeness as Indiana Jones. Here’s what we know about the game so far.
What is Indiana Jones and the Great Circle?
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a first-person, cinematic action-adventure game set between the events of the movies Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade. Players will take on the role of Indiana Jones and embark on a global journey during the peak of the renowned archaeologist’s career in 1937.
Players will have access to Indy’s famous whip, which can be used for distraction, disarming, attacking enemies, and navigating the environment. The game will offer a combination of narrative-driven experiences and open-area maps featuring action and puzzles. This initial glimpse into the game provides an exciting preview of what’s to come.
Release Date and Pricing Details
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is set to be released later this year on Xbox Series X|S and PC. The game will be available on Game Pass from day one and will not be available on PlayStation.
As of now, official pricing details for the game have not been announced, but it is anticipated to launch at full price: US$70 / £70 / AU$89.
