The long-awaited next-gen update for Fallout 4 is now out, allowing fans to dive back into the game with some exciting changes.

Recently, the Fallout franchise has experienced a resurgence in popularity, partly due to the success of the TV series. Fallout 4 Next Gen Update Out Now

The next-gen update for Fallout 4 is now available for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Owners can download it for free from their respective platform’s store. However, if you have Fallout 4 through PS Plus, the upgrade won’t be free.

This update for Fallout 4 is a hefty 56.503 GB, introducing a wealth of new content through the Creation Club, such as quests, weapons, armor, and more. Players can anticipate enhanced performance and visuals, including improved resolutions and framerates.   • Performance mode ensures a 60 FPS target, 4k resolution, standard settings, utilizing dynamic resolution scaling.
  • Quality mode features 30 FPS*, 4k resolution, ultra settings, without the need for dynamic resolution scaling.

*Quality mode varies to 40 FPS on 120Hz displays and runs at 1440p resolution at 60 FPS with ultra settings on 1440p displays regardless of rendering mode.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed issues preventing Japanese and Chinese players from connecting to Bethesda.net, restoring access to Mods.
  • Resolved problems with save data loading during the prologue.
  • Fixed vault entrance issues and quest progression problems.
  • Resolved various character and dialogue related bugs.
  • Addressed visual glitches, stability, and performance improvements.
