Call of Duty: Warzone Update Removes LMG Meta Officially

The latest Call of Duty: Warzone update for Season 1 Reloaded brings an end to the dominance of Light Machine Guns (LMGs) as they have received significant nerfs. The Bruen MK9, DG LSW, Pulemyot 762, and TAQ Eradicator have all been affected, reducing their impact in the game. However, for players who prefer using Assault Rifles or Submachine Guns, the MCW, Holger 556, AMR9, and Striker 9 have all been buffed in terms of their overall damage output.

In the section that covers all Call of Duty Modern Warfare III products, some changes to customization have been made, such as adjusting the appearance of certain Operator Skins, fixing issues with camo appearances, and resolving various errors related to weapon blueprints.

In the Warzone section, a new Night Vision Gulag variant has been introduced, offering players a different gameplay experience. Additionally, there have been improvements to map geometry and lighting in various locations to enhance the overall gameplay experience. – .50 Cal Spire Point Rounds: Damage Range Benefit increased by 2%
– .410 Gauge Dragon’s Breath: Near-Mid Damage Range reduced by 12%; Mid Damage Range reduced by 10%
– 12 Gauge Dragon’s Breath: Near-Mid Damage Range reduced by 8%; Mid Damage Range reduced by 10%

– Laser:
– SL Razorhawk Laser Light: Increased ADS Speed Benefit by 4.5%; Increased Sprint to Fire Benefit by 7%
– FSS OLE-V Laser: Reduced the ADS Speed Benefit by 2%; Reduced the Sprint to Fire Benefit by 4%
– FTAC Grimline Laser: Reduced the Sprint to Fire Benefit by 7%
– Verdant Hook Box Laser: Increased the Sprint to Fire Benefit by 3%

– Muzzle:
– XRK Nightfall Suppressor: Damage Range Benefit reduced by 5.5%; Velocity Benefit reduced by 8%; Recoil Benefit reduced by 3%; ADS Penalty increased by 7%; Sprint to Fire Penalty increased by 3%

These adjustments aim to balance the gameplay experience. Additionally, the update introduces new challenges and changes in gameplay elements, such as Champion’s Quest, Deployable Buy Stations, Black Sites, Ziplines, Tracker Grenade, Underwater Rebreather, Vehicle Respawn, Covert Exfil, and Weapon Case features.

Perks and Killstreaks also received some modifications:
– Perk adjustments include changes to E.O.D. and Quick Fix.
– Bomb Drone’s warning range has been increased to 14 meters from 6 meters.

Warzone Audio

Our audio team has been working hard to make adjustments to the audio experience in Warzone. Along with the changes outlined below, we are actively looking into further improvements, with some planned for parachutes in an upcoming season.

  • Audio Occlusion
    • Improvements have been made to audio occlusion on Urzikstan.
  • Plane Audio
    • Adjustments have been made to the audio on the Infil/Exfil airplane.
  • Music Channels
    • Adjusted cinematic music so that it is no longer entirely on gameplay channels, rather than cine.
  • Allied Sounds
    • Reduced the volume of friendly Slides, Jumps and Lands to better distinguish between friendly and enemy behavior.

Warzone Bug Fixes

    • Fixed an issue that allowed Players to clip through geometry while using a Ziplines or Ascender.
    • Fixed an issue causing a player to get stuck in a loop and preventing them from being revived if they were downed while plating.
    • Fixed an issue preventing equipped Gulag tokens from awarding cash when the Gulag closes.
