Leaked Insider Info Teases Upcoming Call of Duty 2024 Unveiling

The Verge has reported that the next version of Call of Duty might be unveiled during the Xbox showcase scheduled for June 9th. This event is expected to feature several exciting titles, including a new Gears of War release, Avowed, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, and an Indiana Jones game.

Prior to the June event, Insider Gaming suggests that fans won’t have to wait long for the first look at Call of Duty 2024. The reveal is anticipated to happen before the showcase, in a similar vein to previous announcements, and notably separate from the Warzone experience.

Following the June showcase, insiders predict a more detailed reveal of the game, likely including a campaign mission walkthrough. More information about the multiplayer aspects is expected in August, with details on the zombies content coming later.

Leaked details about Call of Duty 2024 are emerging, with sources suggesting it is named Black Ops Gulf War. The multiplayer beta may be hinted online for an October launch. Leaker Tom Henderson hints that the game will feature an open-world campaign reminiscent of the expansive Far Cry series.

This new open-world approach for Call of Duty will offer players a vast environment to explore, utilizing vehicles and a fast-travel system. Raven Software is reportedly developing this innovative campaign model.

Along with Black Ops Gulf War, the Xbox June Showcase is also expected to announce the availability of various Activision and Blizzard classics under Microsoft’s umbrella, potentially including CoD titles on Xbox Game Pass and news on Diablo 4.
