The next version of the Greek mythology-inspired roguelike series, Hades 2, has been updated. Players can now register for an upcoming technical test.

Hades 2, the sequel to the earlier game of the same name by Supergiant Games, follows the narrative of players striving to escape from the Greek underworld as Zagreus, son of Hades. In this sequel, players will encounter Melinoë, Zagreus’ sister and Titan of Time. Registration for the technical test of Hades 2 is now open for those who are eager to participate.

Supergiant Games Announced Hades 2 Technical Test Signup

Currently, interested players can sign up for the Hades 2 Technical Test, which is exclusive to PC users. To sign up, players should visit the official Hades 2 Steam page and click on the “Request Access” button. For those using Keymailer, an official page has been set up by Supergiant Games. Although the game will be released in Early Access, this Technical Test is a unique opportunity. Some players who sign up will be invited to participate, helping Supergiant Games address bugs and make improvements. More players will be invited as the test progresses, creating a continuous cycle until completion, ensuring a smoother Early Access launch.

While Supergiant Games has not specified a precise duration for the Hades 2 Technical Test, they expect it to run for more than a week but less than a month, as mentioned in their blog post. Test participants will have the opportunity to explore the first major dungeon of the game, which Supergiant likens to reaching the end of Tartarus in the first game. As with other Technical Tests, progress and data will not carry over to the Early Access release.
