Assassin’s Creed Jade, set in ancient China, is a high-profile mobile game created by Level Infinite, a Tencent subsidiary collaborating with Ubisoft. It has been in development for four years and is the first full Assassin’s Creed game designed specifically for mobile devices, offering an open-world experience on both iOS and Android.

Why is Assassin’s Creed Jade Delayed?

The delay in launching Assassin’s Creed Jade is due to Tencent reallocating resources to support DreamStar, a newly released global party game designed for interactive player experiences. Tencent has shifted staff from the upcoming Assassin’s Creed project to work on DreamStar, leading to the delay until 2025.

This decision follows Tencent’s move away from Western franchise developments to focus on creating games like Eggy Party and Genshin Impact using their own intellectual property, enabling them to retain a larger share of game profits.

When Is Assassin’s Creed Jade Releasing?

As of now, there is no specified release date for Assassin’s Creed Jade due to the resource reallocation. Fans can stay updated by subscribing and showing interest on Assassin’s Creed Jade’s official website. Despite the delay, enthusiastic players eagerly anticipating the game’s release will need to remain patient.
